Here is a collection of short stories that have either been requested or have come from my own brain.
A Woven Attachment
Emaline’s accidental run-in with Falworth’s handsome Royal Commander and a mix-up with a magical hankie stirs rumors in their small town. Only, a peeved Commander is the least of her concerns when the Crown Prince himself asks her to join forces with the Commander. From magical mischief to political intrigue, this seamstress is about to find herself tangled up in a whole lot more than thread.
Their Desire
People think of me as a rich snobbish bastard but their perspective about me never bothers me because they are all insignificant beings who abhor me not because of my personality but because they want to live my life and unfortunately, they can’t.
Yet she was different, when we met for the first time, she kept with my obnoxious personality and endured my temperament till I came to adore her. And with time that adoration took the shape of love.
But I never dared to tell her about my feelings thinking that my declaration might damage our friendship. Still, I hated the thought of any other guy approaching her, so I used all my means to keep them away from her.
But then she left me, making my heart yearn for her presence.
After a long time when I had learned to live without her, she came back into my life.
She was in pain and I could see it in her eyes, and I was afraid that she would leave me again if I confess.
But all changed when I saw her with my best friend. He had pulled her into a tight hug, patting her back reassuringly while kissing her forehead repeatedly.
That day something changed in me, and I realized that she doesn’t deserve my love.
Hence, I started to loathe her, torturing her in every possible way.
But still, somewhere in my heart, I desired her.
Note: It's a slow-burn story so things will progress steadily.

Myths, Legends, and Dreams is a Speculative Fiction anthology featuring the works of the members of the Worldsmyths writing community. Founded in 2016, we wanted to do something BIG to celebrate our fifth anniversary, and this anthology was born!

Thrall of the Dark Wood
Young mother Ilse arrived in Forst village seven years ago with an infant in her arms and another little one on the way. Secretive about her previous life, most assumed Ilse to be an unwed harlot, driven from her home by her family’s shame. Ilse is especially tight-lipped about the most pressing question: who the father of her children is.
Ilse bore the burden of their rumors with ease, and for seven years lived in relative peace in a small house just outside of the Dark Wood – a forest that many believed was home to inhuman creatures. None but Ilse had ever dared to live that close, fearing that they would be lured into the Wood, never to return.
When Ilse and her children disappear, seemingly out of thin air, the village assumes the Dark Wood has claimed their lives. What they don’t know is that the father of Ilse’s children, who most assumed to be some nobody from Ilse’s home village, is actually much closer than they thought. He comes from the Dark Wood – and he wants his family back.

Otto knows this isn’t mercy, but he can’t say no. As a submissive wolf, he can’t fight back, especially against a dominant one with a blood-splattered face and sadistic smile. Now he’s to become a plaything and must do whatever it takes to sate the beast.
